The Latch R (the "R" stands for "reader") allows for access control in common areas and for amenities. The device connects to doors with electric or magnetic locks in order to unlock them using the Latch system of apps, door codes, or keycards.
These devices are always online and stay connected via ethernet and wifi. A high resolution picture is taken every time the door is unlocked. Property managers can control access and review access logs remotely.
