The Latch R combines a reader, door controller, and management system into one simple product that directly connects to motion detectors and requests to exit devices, lobby doors, parking gates, elevators, and office turnstiles. But it doesn’t stop there — you can also use Wiegand, Ethernet, or Wifi to connect the Latch R to a larger system anywhere you need it.
Latch lets you unlock a door with an iOS or Android smartphone, smartcard, or special doorcode (and optionally comes with a key). Say goodbye to late-night lockouts and worrying about who has keys to your space.

The Latch R uses Bluetooth, Ethernet, and Wifi, and its internal memory to handle credential syncing and storage. In environments without an internet connection, the Latch R can be seamlessly updated via Bluetooth whenever someone connects with their phone. With an internet connection, the Latch R allows you to receive alerts, process images, and push changes in real-time.
